David Latter with his seedlings of the endangered Emerald Star. Only found near Emerald, the seedlings were grown by David and planted by Landcare to increase the tiny population of this beautiful local species.

10.00 am    Meet at Emerald Scout Hall Kilvington Dve and follow signs to planting.

1.00  pm     Free bbq at Scout Hall. Safe playing area for kids.

1.30 pm      Walk in Hogans Park with local experts

TAKE CARE: All sites are uneven with some steep parts. Wear sturdy shoes. Bring gloves, and waterproofs for possible rain, and sunhat for possible sun.
BYO: Cool and hot drink for when planting. These drinks are available at bbq.
